For any kind of sanctioned racing (and as good practice) the bulkhead bar should be modified to have 4 anchor points as the two at the extremities are not sufficient to prevent flex in the bar under a hard impact.

Best for a full cage is to find a shop local to you who can build one in the car, thus keeping it tight to the outermost points. that said, all the vendors sell bolt in versions, the three point are least intrusive to cabin space (third brace extends top the appsenger footwell)and some come with that piece removable for every day driving if you carry a passenger a lot.

I've seen a bar that people mount across the bulkhead behind the seats using the original seatbelt bolts, who sells this.

Early/late cars had different center-to-center measurements.

Make sure you order the right one if you go this route.

And as Julian wrote, the two outer anchor points are not at all ideal for a secure mounting point.

Thanks for all the replies you guys. I will probably have someone local build one at some point, most of the bolt-ins are pretty pricey, and at that price I might as well get it custom made without having to make a "bolt-in" fit to my car. The woman who answered the phone at Hall Pantera did ask which year I had, so she obviously knew that there were two versions which I appreciated her checking. So I am going this route until I can scrounge the funds to build a 4 point roll bar, and decide I want to do that permanently to the car. I need to do my homework and find some reputable chassis builders in the area also before I go that route.
