Hello Kjeld; Jerry has to come to the realization that he is selling sheetmetal NOT GOLD in regards to his pricing, Jerry obviously has NOT achieved this "Self-Enlightenment" ...Mark
Have you tried Steve Wilkinson in Paramount, CA? I know he just found a bunch of New Old Stock sheet metal at the factory in Italy. I don't know what he really has or the pricing -- but it may be a resource to at least check. The best way to get in touch with him is by giving him a phone call. He is not good at getting back via email. You can look up his phone number at his website Pantera's by Wilkinson.

Best of luck.

Mark

Kjeld,

I admire your spirit, but honestly think you should be looking for another wrecked car and use one of the two as the donor. It will probably work out cheaper than trying to find and purchase parts piecemeal, shipping etc.

For example Beverley Hills Car Club had this car reduced to around $15,000 over Christmas and they do seem to get low end cars with parts missing with regularity. Something like this could provide most of what you need or vise versa.

Also contact Larry Stock at Pantera Parts Connection in Carson City NV, he had two or three wrecked Pantera bodies he was slowly stripping sheet metal off of. Prices are not likely to be cheap though.

Good luck,
Julian

Hello Julian; Through some Dick Tracy like detective work I tracked down & spoke with the owner of the Pantera being sold at Beverly Hills Car Club.

A Mr. Michael DiGonis ( VERY NICE GUY on the phone). The Pantera in question was raced at Bonneville SALT Flats, and despite Michael's best efforts to remove all the salt that worked it's way into EVERY nook & cranny, Michael was unsuccessful & as a result the Pantera has more HOLES & RUST than imaginable.

I would venture to state with reassurance that every sheet metal/body part that Kjeld needs for his restoration would NOT come from the Beverly Hills Car Club Pantera...Mark
Hi Mark.

Thanks, i will try and call Wilkinson in Next week and see what he have.

Kjeld,

Depends which place; I relocated to Calgary for my job, but still have a home in Reno. Larry's shop is 25 miles from the Reno home and roughly 1,300 from Calgary Smiler I've driven Reno-Calgary and back in the past 3 months and I'm currently back in Reno for the holidays and some vacation working on the house and cars!

Hello Julian; I have spoken to the owner of this Pantera.

He shows pictures of the Pantera WITH DOORS, DECKLID, HOOD, & then in the fine print states the Pantera comes WITHOUT THESE ITEMS!!!

Must be very GOOD reasons that car has been listed for sale for OVER 6 MONTHS & NO BUYER!!!
I did NOT get a "Good Feeling" from the seller!...your opinion & mileage may vary...Mark
