I have 25-30K to spend and I want as much car as I can get. Paint and interior are unimportant as I plan a group 5 conversion. E-mail me at rodger.smith@comcast.net In So. cal. is a plus
Be careful with the conversion. It's not just flares. Take into account the entire exterior and the full leather interior with a single pod dash! Don't forget the GT-5 wheels too! Oh..and the GT-5 Ansa GTS exhaust... etc.
Or, how about saving some cash and buying one that's already converted! There's a beautiful specimen on ebay right now! It's not a complete conversion but would get you started.
Thanks Josh I looked at that one...he wants more than 60K. It shure is a nice car and I know I'll have at least that much in one before its done . But I can't spend that much in one go, and still not have the car I want ie color etc. It may take me a year or two and my finance situation is a few K here and a few thou there but thats half the fun I think. I built two AMC AMX cars a 69 and a 68 put lots of doe in them and sold them for peanuts when my family needed the room. Now I have a good and stable income and the kids are gone. I bought my wife a new BMW for Christmas so her lips are sealed good and tight. Truth be told I think she wants me to have this just to keep me at ome and out of her lovely hair. RCS
