Does anyone know what font is used on the group 4/Hall Super Pantera's side script as per photo below? Also if anyone (Rapid?) knows what size the letters are I'd like to know that too to be able to reproduce it.

Thanks,
Julian

Well Julian,

That one stumps me. I looked through over two and a half thousand of my fonts and don't have a match. To me it looks like a customized version of Eurostile but the A and R are heavily modified. It shouldn't take me more than an hour or two to re-create it from a good dead-on side view photo if you can't find it.

Kevin,

Where did these decals come from? Can Julian just order a set in the color he needs? If not, any chance you have a dead-on side view photo (you can e-mail it to me at: mark-at-markscars.ca) and an overall length of the decal to go along with the 3.5" height?

Garth: Thanks for validating how uncommon this font is. I was worried that someone would post a quick, obvious answer and make me look like the fool my friends know I am... Wink

Good find Mark. That is a pretty good match but it is not exactly the same, even discounting the e. The n is also lower case. It is already in a state that any vinyl shop could use to prepare a mask for painting if you're happy with that version of the logotype. Just send the link to your sign shop and they will download the EPS file and cut your masks.

This is closer but still not perfect.

Hi Julian,

That would be easy to do but the details that look wrong are the rads on the corners and some of the stroke widths are off. The overall proportions are pretty close when I compare the the car ( I found I had taken an OK photo of the car at Laguna Seca in 2007). Maybe on the weekend I will have time to re-do it.
