Ebay is a great place to advertise Panteras. Many people will not bid and buy over Ebay but will contact you off line to ask their questions and possibly purchase the vehicle. This was the case of my '73. A gentleman first purchased my Pantera magazines collection. Through that communication he became interested in the Pantera. It seems that he had owned a Pantera in the mid 70's when he was a younger man and had always regretted selling it and always longed for another one. The timing was right and he will be coming to Hawaii to vacation and purchase the car for his 64th birthday. Great story . . . George, you want an article?

BTW, the 5-0 pushbutton also has a potential buyer off of Ebay. He's in the middle of a real estate deal and if all goes well, he will also be coming to Hawaii to purchase that car, unless someone beats him to it. He also found the car in my Ebay ad.

Ebay is the best free advertising which reaches out world wide. The auction costs you nothing unless the car sells and only $125 if it does.
I bought mine on e-bay without even looking at it and then send Jim Cozzolino out to pick it up. They do tend to trade hands fast those Pantera's.
I have seen 20 different ones advertised this month on what I assume some 4000 that are still alive that is half a % changing hands every month or so....so that means that after 17 years they all find another owner... well Ok ,not that bad then.

Funny, I noticed a fairly big drop off of Panteras too. I think just 4 are listed tonight.

Commenting on other posts, I found mine on ebay too. The price ran up, but not to reserve (I was high bidder).

A 'spoof/phishing' email came to me saying, "Second Chance Offer" but I thought it was legit, and recontacted the seller. He later found his listing had been compromised, but that call turned into the first of the negotiations to buy #7059.
