Has anyone put together a Checklist for inspecting your Cat prior to that first fire-up in the Spring?

I just replaced my battery and performed a thorough inspection of all the important things: fuel and water lines, hoses & clamps, brake fluid and water levels, electrical connections and critical bolts (transaxel, headers, half-shafts, etc).

Everything was nice and tight - and all areas where leakage could occur were dry as a bone.

The only area I noticed that was a little loose was the bottom plate on the ZF. All those black bolts needed about 1/8 to 1/16 turn with a socket. Is this normal?

I think you're correct. Even though my garage is heated, I think the natural expansion/contraction of the ZF means she gets a little loose over the winter. I did notice the gasket "swell" a bit when I tightened the bolts. Nothing major and definitely no leakage.
