Tach adaptor

Hi everyone,

I bought a ready to run distributor - separate coil - Does anyone know if I will need a Tach adaptor to make the tach work properly and if so, will an MSD tach adaptor #PN8920 work? If not, what will?

With the ready to run 8350, you need to run the 8910 tach adapter.

OOps! Forgot to mention - this is not an MSD distributor. It is a generic ``cheaper`` one from ebay. It runs well in the car but I havn`t hooked up the tach yet because I didn`t want to take a chance on damaging anything and want to make sure the tach will work with this distributor first.

No experience with a generic distributor. Try hooking it up and see if the tach works, if not I would try the 8910 first as the electronics in the distributor should be the same.
