the interest in my original post was extensive, but 10" campag wheels will be a no no for me judging by the cost and scarcity. But thanks to all for invaluable information.
My car now due in England 31st Dec, hope the oceans smooth.
I wouldn't give up so easily on them. There are a bunch of people who either have no idea or just don't care and want to get rid of them in leu of the aluminum billet 17" reproductions.
That scenario is more common in the US than anywhere else.
I actually got mine through placing a "wanted ad" in Autoweek.
Got them from a Porsche dealer who was driving a Lamborghini. He just wanted to get rid of them.
The market for anything Detomaso is strange to say the least.
From what I am seeing, there is more than one set out there needing a home.
Hall Pantera alone sold more "continuation" wheels than Detomaso ever order from Campagnollo. More cars than not in the US added them.
I hold out no expectation that mine are worth anything significant to anyone else but me. If and when I ever go to sell them, they will be worth what I can get for them on that day.

That was my opinion too....
Don't give up. There is always hope. I have missed out on many good Pantera deals on parts by not pulling the trigger fast enough.
Good things come to those who wait!
Good Luck
