Does any one know what the thread size is for the end of the throttle cable at the end by the carb? I'm talking about the female type fitting that threads on carb. The threading acts as a length adjustment for the cable. I hope that gives a good picture of what I'm talking about. I think the cable is a stock replacement that I bought from PI a few years ago. My ball has stripped out the female fitting on the cable so my cable pops off all the time. If anyone can recommend a Holley or Pegasus racing part number, or a better solution I would appreciate it. Thanks. Vince

Not sure what you are referring to, but the threading on the cable ends should be a 10/32 thread.

By the way, I had my frayed cable rebuilt, using most of the stock parts, by an industrial cable shop here in town. They had new 10/32 ends in stock.

Nothing exotic about the cable and any shop that builds/repairs cables as used in industrial/farming applications should be able to do the job for you.
