It does not look correct. But I believe it is from an early Capri or Escort.

The cancel cam -circled in yellow - looks aftermarket or custom, not the same shape as OEM Pantera.

I believe the two red-circled portions are what the cancel cam should engage to shut off the signal, but not sure.

This piece is available from the vendors, most likely all are now reproductions. Shop price as I think it varies.

Good luck.

Larry

Your turn signal switch looks like it's from an old Land Rover Series 3. I had a 1972 series 3 Rover with RHD and that's what it had.

I think I have some of this style in my stock of parts, as Larry said also used on Euro Capri and Escort. The stalk is visually the same as the Pantera one, no symbols.

The photo is a little deceiving as the cam is pushed down the shaft against the spring by the steering wheel hub. One would imagine this setup worked at some point, I wonder if perhaps a different hub has been used that does not push the cam far enough and it needs a spacer?

If it works when the cam is pushed down, maybe the steering wheel hub nut is not tightened enough so the cam contacts the arms.

If you do want to replace the turn signal assembly, check to see if there is a part number on it.

Land Rover Series III All models 1971-1984
LUCAS part# 575383G

Or

eBay search under : Land Rover series 3 indicator

Then compare the detailed photos on the adds to yours.

eBay price range from $18 to $150

The stalk is not visible in your photo to see whether there are embossed pictures like the Land Rover one. I more suspect it is a MK2 Capri unit like the below which externally is visually the same as the oem Pantera unit.

I believe I have one or more in my collection if you need one at a fair price.
This is what I found out about this turn signal assembly. Lucas uses the same 119SA switch. Based on application, the part number stamped on it determines the connector type and stalk length/design. Some are 8-wire some are 9-wire. I'm not sure if those with 9th wire provide a 'Flash to Pass'feature.

If you search eBay under LUCAS 119SA, it will bring up the same switch for different British car applications. Different ends, different stalk lengths, some with symbols on the stalk, some not.
