Looking for an front hood for a 72 to complete a restoration. Must not have been cut for hood vents and must not need a reskin. Would consider carbon fiber, but would prefer steel. Not interested in fiberglass. Thanks.

I think there is a difference between very early and late 72s. The wrong hood is a poor fit.
Just be aware that most of the carbon fiber hoods on offer are fiberglass with a carbon overlay top coat for aesthetics only and not structural carbon.
I have a spare uncut hood that has a small amount of damage to one corner. I was going to use it on my GT5, but there are so few uncut hoods now it seems a shame to cut it. I also have a spare good quality fiberglass hood (they vary considerably between sources).
