Whats the red indicator light for that is located on the dash between the air vents above the console? Its not found on all cars I've noticed.

It is a wear indicator light for the brake pads.

The one between the air vents is your "fasten seatbelt" lamp - the one between the tach & speedo is for brake pad wear I believe.

A piece of black electrical tape over the light will fix the problem HA HA HA! ....HA!
Robert, did you think the reindeer putting tar on Rudolf's nose was a good idea?
Anyway, maybe I'll rewire it as a "Brakes Out" indicator with a trick switch I can flip on. Should make for interesting passenger reactions when I use it.
