What do I do with all the take-off stuff that came with my car?

it took me four years to find all the parts you mentioned and many more to get my Pantera back to the original condition. I also needed the radiator, the fans, the standard steel coolant tubing etc. etc. up to the Goodyear Arrivas. Against the background of  the time and money I needed to spend I would keep the parts. I use to keep all parts I took off of the car anyway to be able to document the history of it so even broken and therefore useless parts  are on the shelf. However - if you want to make your Pantera purchase more reasonable and collect money for future repairs you may make a Pantera enthusiast, as "freaky" as I am , very happy with your original parts.

It's unlikely anybody but a few would put those items back on once removed. I would sell them.

I would keep the top three items, the exhaust system, carb and intake and the dizzy, as well as any other bits like the little hoses and related fittings with the car as they represent the factory emission system as it was in the day. The parts would be of great value to an overseas buyer that has to present their car for initial inspection by the authorities as a stock example.

Keep it all, and clean it al up over your winter non-driving time. Then it will be easier to store and somewhere there's someone that desperately needs that stuff. Watch this space.

You never know what is going to happen with these cars.

A complete originality thing hasn't as yet, but you never know.

At present, having those parts would just possibly make it easier to sell the car?

If I might ask, what is the stamping number on the distributor? Is it single or dual point?

I've changed my mind. Since these cars will turn into museum pieces instead of being driven, as time passes, then yeah, they are worth more looking at ON the car.

Thanks guys. Really appreciate the advice. I guess I'll find a place to store this stuff. If there's room for my mother-in-laws giant nativity scene, there should be room for this stuff.

I keep expecting my ceiling to come crashing down under the weight of Pantera, Land Cruiser, and Jensen Interceptor parts that are stored up there!

It will be a tsunami of originality!
