Hi Guys

It has been a while since I last posted.   I am looking for tire size suggestions for a wide body Group IV style car.  I am thinking P355 30Z19 for the rear and possibly   P285 or P295 30Z18 for the front.  I am putting bigger brakes on the car and the old 16" wheels are too small.  It had Hoosier tires on 14" rear wheels and 12" fronts.  Just wondering what others are running for big tires.

Also wondering about a modern LED fog light set up to fit the front spoiler.  Any suggestions are welcome.  I did see a neat setup on a yellow Group IV car in the Extreme Panteras book, but I am not sure of the source.

Thanks,

That's a tough one, the wide body cars sit on a 345/35-15 stock with a total diameter of 24.5" making them sit low, a 355/30-19 is 27.4" so IMO they end up looking too high off the ground. Like stock though I'd say a Pirelli is a the best choice in a P-Zero. If it's not too late you can get more than enough brake under a 15" wheel to go for the Campi wheel and true Group 4 look!

Don't know if this helps but I set up my car to work with:

18" by 9" with 245/35R18 Continental Extreme Contact DW on the front

20" by 12" with 335/25R20 Continental Extreme Contact DW on the rear

The final alignment is not done in the attached photo but the rear lower control arms are parallel to the ground which I believe is good for street use and to maintain good geometry.
