Great police work! I've been in contact with the seller from CO. the car sold this morning! After talking with him, and him finding out my father was a prior owner, he's going to see "what he can do" to get me back into this car. I'll keep you all posted.

I don't know if you were able to pick up this car or not but I saw it this afternoon on I-15 going north in Utah on a open trailer being pulled by a motorhome. Both the motorhome and trailer had Montana Plates. I figured it was the car you were talking about because there can't be very many pushbutton black panteras w/10" rear campys? Car is Awesome in person.

1288 was not destined to be mine at this point in time. I hope the new owner enjoys this car, and gives her a good home. 1288 is the cat that got me hooked on the De Tomaso marque 22 years ago.

Stay in touch with the new owner. I first came across my '86 5-S in April of '95, but it wasn't meant for me at that time. I followed it to the new owners, got in touch with them, and when I was ready and it was ready (8 years later), I got it! Dreams do come true.
