As expected one of my 34 year old OEM window switchs bit the dust.Right side window doesn't work. Question is, how do you remove it? Gently pry it out with a screwdriver or remove the panel and compress the clips or whatever holds it in place from the back side? Must be the switch as i replaced both window gears 2 years ago. Hope it's not the window motor, starting with the simple stuff first. Thanks in advance. Chuck

I just did mine this Friday. Take the kick plate off the driver's side wheel well, identify the switches from behind using a flashlight (you are on your back with your feet on the garage floor and your head under the steering wheel). Put a screwdriver or similar on the upper or lower edge of the switch from behind the panel and rap the scredriver with a hammer - shouldn't take much force. Pull the wires gently through the dash to the car side and keep them there. If you are replacing original switches with the Bosch replacements you will probably need to file the corners of the openings a little to allow the new switches to fit. I used a needle nose to help me reconnect the wires as there was not much slack - then push the switches into place. It is worth taking some care when filing to make the switch openings even so the switches sit level relative to one another. I got the wires messed up on one of the switches, reversed two wires and all was well. Good luck.
