OK, I have a timing pointer for you (I actually had a spare one out in the garage). I don't have an oil slinger and to obtain one would mean pulling the timing cover on a motor in the scrapyard and even then the later engines did not have them..... however, there's a company in Anza, CA that do a lot of Cleveland stuff and they were they ones I would have sugested for a windage tray had you needed it. They have an oil slinger for $20, the link is below. For anyone else following the thread they they also have timing pointers

The Milodon pan is not baffled to the same extent as the Armando or Aviaid, in a Pantera that is a big difference for hard cornering, maybe not so important in a Longchamp. Coincidentally there were two posts on the e-mail list just yesterday from people looking to sell unused Armando pans if you did decide you want one.
