I still haven't found the Pantera I want yet, but I am selling my '91 ZR-1. It has 97K miles, runs and drives great, has a full warranty for another 20 months (covers everything but routine maintenance), new clutch assembly, A/C, Bose am/fm/cd/cas, starter, tires, more. Borla + K&N. Black with grey leather; all options; very, very nice. NOT a garage queen....a car to drive!

Also, not a Pantera, but I know a few of you own Corvettes too. I'm asking $20,500 (1000's below book).

email me at mishalah@usa.com if interested in the other side of the fence.

My ZR-1 is still for sale. I installed new window tint and a new battery last month. This car looks like it is new, is verry fast, and fairly rare. Though not a Pantera, it would be a good addition to a high performance stable. Besides, how am I gonna get MY Pantera unless I let this car go??!
Hi Madguy;

I'm in Las Vegas (that should tell you I value good, cold a/c and engines that don't overheat). I brought the ZR-1 out here from Florida. It runs great, everything works as it is supposed to, has lotsa new components and a warranty for anything that could need replacing.

It drives much like the Z06, with the adjustable suspension and all the rest. The DOHC/32V engine is a gas to drive, and I think the ZF 6 spd is the best trans I have ever shifted a gear in. It is typical Vette with its gokart handling and high noise level, but the stereo has that dual level auto adjustment so the faster you go, the louder it gets .

The only things I don't like are the auto door locking on start-up (been locked out a couple of times), and the 1-4 shift lockout (heck, I never shift out of first before 26mph anyway). The Borla exhaust sounds nice (not as throaty as a Pantera, but it lets others know you're there).

I think it's the best ZR-1 for the $$$ in the country. You can drive it as much as you like, set it up or modify it however you want, or store it away (a huge waste of fun machinery). Unlike one I saw at the Kruse/Mandalay Bay auction last weekend, it looks new and is totally reliable.

email me at mishalah@usa.com if you're interested. This ZR-1 is a compliment to any other sportscar, or a helluva ride by itself.
dallas,

yeah the impala is a sweet ride, but unless you have a family or need for all that space it is just too big (for me at least!)

I have the impala for sale so I can get a pantera. It is now on ebay and should sell by the end of next week. When are you going to Louisiana? The more I think about your Z the more I am interested in it.
Madguy;

I have to pick up the GTO soon, and the guy who has it stored is leaving on vacation on the 17th, so any time between now and then. I can take digital pics and email them if I can figure out how to do it.

I would like to have your SS, but it's a little more than I can afford right now...and I couldn't see my daughter driving it to school
Well, I took the ZR to the track last weekend. Just the old straight line 1/4 mile. Ran some mid-13s at 105-107. Not too bad for a car made for track and high speed stuff. Dropped a new 720/900 battery in to keep all those electronics happy.

Still needs a new home. Still lookin' for that Pantera.
