To each his own. I sold a Maserati to France and it was so easy I don't even remember what I actually did, other than accept the wire transfer. Sold another one to England, and except for where I (stupid me) forgot to put the spare and jack back in the car (they couldn't drive it away, some saftey law) all went well.

HOWEVER...

Three times I've sold insignificant things overseas on ebay and had major headaches directly related thereto. It was beyond belief and the length of this post.

To me, if a buyer has the money, pays timely, is fair-minded, and doesn't ask too much of an accomodating seller, I don't care if their residence is in an Igloo, just outside of Saturn's 3rd ring.

Reaper can do what he likes and knows what he's doing. Empirically though, if a seller must choose between "no buyer" and "overseas buyer", the choice may get murkier.
