Background Information: I originally bought this car to do some clean-up to the black paint and sell quickly. However, once I started looking through the paperwork and looking closer at the car, it became very clear that this car has been valued and loved since day one. There are over 200 neat and tidy pages of invoices and history included in a binder going all the way back to its import into the U.S. The import documents take up 20 pages by themselves. It has had dozens of upgrades and modifications over the years with the best ones installed over the last decade. In fact, we ran a quick tape on this of only the bigger stuff which came to $58,153 - not including our body and paint work! Add in our bill and this car has somewhere north of $75,000 spent on it. This car even still has its Italian gauges and all of the Italian paperwork, including the original invoice. Luckily for you and I - I bought it right and we only worked on this when we were slow over the winters so you don't have to pay even close to that price.
Mileage: The Italian Odometer shows 86,050km (53,649 miles). The car had 48,878km (29,327 miles) when shipped from Italy in October of 1985 to its 1st U.S. owner. The Pantera had 65,500km (39,300 miles) when sold to its 2nd U.S. owner in August of 1995 (they drove the car about 1000 miles/year for six years). Mileage grew to 74,038km (44,422 miles) when sold to its 3rd U.S. owner in March of 2001 (this is the owner who put the 351W in and many modifications below). He drove the car 7,463 miles over 9 years. Finally, the car had 86,050km (53,649 miles) when sold to its 4th U.S. owner (Lake Mac Auto Classic Car Restorations) in August of 2010. The car has only had 12,012km (7,463 miles) since the 351W motor was installed!
