260 Degree Temperature Guage Resistor

Recently switched from the stock 230 degree Veglia gauge to a 260 degree Veglia and I am getting bad readings. According to Wilkinson, a resistor needs to be added to the red/black wire and they are out of them.

Does anyone have one or know where else to get one? Guidance on what the resistance is supposed to be???

Any help is appreciated.
