About 3 years ago Yokohama made a batch of 345's, so they may not be that old. But the advice about checking the date code is excellent - I had a brand new 8-year old Pirelli P7R blow out on my after a grand total of 40 miles. Fortunately I was going slow, but it could have been ugly.

If you are desperate for 285's, there is a new lot in Sweden for sale. Bring money.
