Excellent original paint, chrome and interior. 1,025 miles, two owners from new and in showroom condition. No Reserve. Despite the overly optimistic estimate this is a premium price for this Pantera's low miles, known history and exceptional presentation.

Just 135 miles from new, and totally original!
(Note: all the upgrades listed below in description, although desirable for a car to be driven, contradict the 'totally original' statement)
This is truly a "time warp" car! It is just as it was when purchased new 33 years ago. To the collector who is looking for an original car it doesn't get any better than this "out of the box" example. It has never been touched, modified, or damaged.
It is hard to imagine a more perfect example of any 33-year old collector car than this De Tomaso. It has only covered 100 miles from new, having been coveted by successive collector owners, and retains fascinating details such as the original unused collapsible spare tire.
The car comes with its purchase invoice dated February 25, 1975, the Manufacture's Statement of Origin, the original manual and certificates of title issued since new. The car was featured in the Fall 2003 edition of the Pantera International magazine.
Canepa Design has just completed a full mechanical service and cosmetic detail on the car to awaken it from its years in storage. The car was fully inspected and every system serviced including changing all fluids, belts, hoses, and filters. Only period correct OEM parts were used in this process.
The engine has been fully serviced including rebuilding the carburetor and replacing the oil pan gasket. New plugs, filters, and all new hoses were installed. The exhaust system has been cleaned and Jet coated to match the original finish and new exhaust gaskets installed. The transmission was serviced and it's fluid replaced. The clutch master and slave cylinders were replaced.
The brake booster, master cylinders and brake calipers were all rebuilt and new brake hoses installed. Wheel bearings were re-packed and new wheel seals installed. All new upper and lower control arm bushings have been installed. Our four-wheel alignment has set the suspension to factory specifications.
Our detail department then spent over 200 hours cleaning and detailing every square inch of this car. The interior exterior and even the bottom of the car are in "as NEW" condition.
The car is spectacular in every aspect. Everything works just as it did when it left the factory and it drives perfect.

The Pantera GTS is the ultimate itteration of what was one of the most iconic Exotic cars ever produced. This example from 1974 was originally ordered for DeTomaso's German Importer as a full GTS model. The VIN # states it to be an "L" model but was ordered to GTS specs prior to leaving the factory in May of 1974. To verify this is a letter directly from DeTomaso Modena SPA dated May 21st 1991 to it's then & current owner from Puerto Rico. After leaving Germany to be imported into Puerto Rico, this Pantera # 6059 was then converted to US spec for both EPA & DOT requirements adding the US spec front rubber bumper to it's original Euro front end. It is an original GTS having it's original color combo of Red & Black 2 toned exterior w/a Black vinyl interior. It's original matching motor # 05404 is still aboard & runs rather good & has a beautiful exhaust note. It's ZF 5 speed transmission appears original to it's build specs. The GTS was the last series of Pantera's that the Lincoln-Mercury dealers sold new thru their Dealer Network. They were a flop being gas was a wopping 59 cents a gallon & the 60's Muscle Car craze was dead already ! These Pantera GTS's had the following options that seperated them from any other Pantera : All chrome blacked out Ferrero steering wheel, GTS wheel logos, Pop riveted fiberglass fender flairs, Flat black rocker panel stripe widened and "Pantera GTS" written on the stripe (this was left off when she was pained by it's owner) & Gloss black metallic front hood and rear compartment deck. This GTS also came from DeTomaso wearing it's 8 X 15" Campy Wheels up front & it's 10 X 15" Campy wheels in back. It has had much recent maintenance work done on it's powerful 351 motor as well as complete new brakes, rotors & all that make her stop well. The paintwork is very nice. The interior appears rather original & can use a little TLC but it is all there. It was equipped with factory Air Conditioning, but a few major components are missing under the back hood & it's last owner did not care to have it repaired. The 28K miles on the clock appear to be close to correct but the speedo is not registering it's speed & will be sold Miles excempt. The best part of this particular GTS is just how original & complete the car is. Please call w/offers.

This pretty thing is a sight to behold...an unrestored original icon from 1974...the DeTomaso Pantera GTS ! It is a rare thing to come across an all original example of anything good. This GTS was the last series of cars that the Lincoln-Mercury dealers sold new thru their Dealer Network. They were a flop being gas was a wopping .59 cents a gallon & the 60's Muscle Car craze was dead already ! One of the last 97 cars imported to the US, these Pantera GTS's had the following options that seperated them from any other Pantera : All chrome blacked out Ferrero steering wheel with Ghia emblem, GTS wheel logos, Pop riveted fiberglass fender flairs, "GTS" script mounted where "Pantera" script was (on the rear), "Pantera" script in place of "DeTomaso" script (on the rear), Flat black rocker panel stripe widened and "Pantera GTS" written on the stripe, Gloss black metallic front hood and rear compartment deck, Ghia emblem on the front bumper (instead of the usual DeTomaso emblem), Dash mounted clock installed & a GTS emblem on the gear-shift knob. This example has a total of 2900 original miles. The car is still wearing 100% of it's original Yellow & Black Paintwork & the interior looks like it's brand new for a 34 year old ! I am the 2nd titled owner being it was on it's original MSO thru 1994 until Carroll Hughes bought it from a Chicago Dealer w/1900 miles. It has it's original Goodyear Arriva tires in storage with under 1900 miles from new & these P-7's on it have 1000 total miles in 14 years.
