Hi Mark, I dont think you would need to replace your Evaporator. They hardly ever fail or leak. They sit in a protected environment compare to the Condenser and they operate with a lot less pressure. Typically 50Psi where the High pressure side (Condenser) is 5-6 higher. The ones I have seen fail is due to people have drilled through them or over torqued the connections. But of course never say never ;-)
