FYI

At least one of the vendors sells a kit for doing this conversion. However the kit I've seen supplies rubber hose for all the new plumbing. The metal tube that Mark installed for the long run from compressor to condensor is a much better way to do it.

Of course, that larger condensor supplied with a better flow of cool air is going to hot rod the a/c system peformance. I'll be doing this too someday, because I want to install a flat bottom trunk tub.
