the clip comes off with a little prying...hooray. Now I need to figure out how to get the exp valve off. not much room to use tools.
I've cleaned up the clip and the pipe. It should be a tight fit when going back on. Then I'm going to wrap the whole thing in that black stuff.

Any tips on removing the valve?
