Actually, while I was searching for the thread on the throttle cable bracket, there was also some discussion about extended throttle cable ferrules for a taller manifolds like you discussed.

Here's a Kirk Evans picture....

I just used a cable extension to get about an inch and a half additional length on my stock throttle cable required for my pedal box extender upgrade.

That might be kind of kludgy, though, if you have to use more than one of them…
