had a very nasty experience last week... i was hauling my new John Deere compact tractor , driving rainy,highway light curve, around Antwerp, when a overtaking car got his grip lost , smashed into the mid concrete wall,was projected into my trailer and back to the highway mid wall ...

Lucky no injuries , but his car total loss ( in fact in parts over a 100 m highway ) , my trailer total loss and my only 2 months old BMW also near total loss... ( rear impact by my trailer ) .Now that's not a problem as i'm omnium insured and here without discussion total in right but what me surprized : what is ON our trailers is NOT insured ! You have to take yourself a dedicated insurance if you want...or as when you haul a car or boat , that one has better a omnium insurance itself !

Lucky my tractor had only some bend irons and was repaired in a few hours ....all heavy tie down strips were broken but lucky he stayed on the trailer....
