The rust in the trunk area is not very important. As panteraufo says you can use some kind of rust devolving gel on that or media blast it. The area at the base of your windscreen looks quite bad. Poke it hard with a screw driver, if you go through you must weld in some new metal. If you dont go through you can media blast it. It's essential to remove all the rust form the bottom of the pits. You cant do this with abrasive belts ot discs etc because if there is any rust left in the bottom of the pits it will come back and spoil your day a few years down the road. Nobody likes having to pull their windscreen.

If you have to weld in new metal you could use some heat sinking putty to minimise distortion on the scuttle panel. This area is not too bad to work on as you do have some access to the inside through the holes where the grills fit.
