Reply to "Active (Vapors II) 4V intake for sale"

The intake is not supposed to be the exact same size as the 4V port. To quote the instructions included with the intake....

"This manifold does not need to be port matched to a 4V head in most applications. It is large enough in the cross sectional area to produce over 600HP. Increasing runner size will decrease air speed. Also there are benefits in stepping from a from a smaller runner in the manifold to a larger port in the cylinder head.
Dyno results of 670 hp and 530 ft lbs have been achieved with this sized runner on a methanol Cleveland engine have been achieved.
However some engine builder perfer to radius and blend the CNC profiling to the casting of the runner.
These note are only intended as a guide based on our own research anddevelopment. Individual results may vary."
