I would think that a police dispatcher would interrupt her with the usual "What is your emergency?" versus "uh huh".

I've even been told my a 911 operator NOT to call THIS number, if I did not KNOW that the accident I was reporting had injuries.

So for a while, I just let others report them.

I have not had this suggestion to call a non-emergency number (711 ???) since.

Funny anyway.
