Is the ride firmer at taller ride heights?

Hi David,

You are correct, I purchased the least expensive NON-Adjustable shocks that had the correct air-spring. The Air-Spring Shocks do come in RQ(ride quality), HQ(handling quality), TQ(track quality) and Electronic like I had on the car before with the coilovers.

The shocks beneath the air springs are the same high quality shocks that are part of the coil-overs we sell. The only difference is the coil-over spring is replaced by an air-spring.

So from a handling perspective, I can move to a better quality shock to improve the body roll issue. I could also play with the roll bars.

The RQ shocks have factory valving that is set for the best quality ride and is not adjustable.
The HQ shocks have single adjustable valving for good adjustability for street/track at an affordable price.
The TQ shocks have triple adjustable valving for great adjustability for track/street driving.
The Electronic shocks have 2 fixed valve stacks for instantaneous changes between the two settings, soft or firm.

The above is true for both coil-spring model shocks or air-spring models shocks. All four model coil-over shocks have adjustable ride height. The air-spring model shocks have adjustable ride height with the change in air pressure. The air-spring shocks are designed to work best when the ride height is set in the mid-travel range. The higher pressure from a higher ride height will indeed cause a stiffer ride but to get to the point were it is too stiff, the car would be riding high like a 4x4...
