Alternative Turn Signal

I am using a different Steering column adapted for the Pantera. I am going to trim out the column some but the turn signal will actually be a toggle momentary switch on the dash.

A circuit will measure wheel rotation with an optical encoder I made attached to the end of the steering column. I will have control over things like cancellation based on how much wheel return I want, total time before it cancels itself, etc. I can run the flashers off the circuit.
