Reply to "Alternator Light always on"

I'm not sure how to tell which it is... I'm pretty sure it's original if that helps. That being said, the wire for the light is shared with the wire from D+ as shown on the diagram. So it doesn't seem to make a difference if the VR is plugged in or not.

Here are the wires on the back of the Alternator
