Hi Peter,
great info and thanks for posting. I have just replaced all my cooling hoses with the gates green stripe hoses and know what a job it is, especially down in that region where the lower water pipes are. What you show is clearly unacceptable and I would have been very irritated indeed if I was lying under the car with antifreeze dripping in my eyes tring to work out what on earth do now. So thanks for posting because the rest of us can do our due diligence and ask the right questions about this pipe when ordering from our favourite vendor.
