How did this scam auction get bidders?

Clicking on the bid button also gets an email page.

I would think the "3" bids and bidders name are just pasted in by the scammer.

But doing an ebay advanced search for the high bidder - dsuain - shows that ebay does list him as the high bidder.

How does that work????
