How can a '71 be #5990? I never saw a C6, VERY RARE C4 PU automatic in a Pantera until now?

Actually here is the Pantera "the kid" wanted to build with his "Grandpa"? Hey "Poppi", where are you? Here's your car?

The other Pantera he has listed as a '73, #6464. It has '74 windshield wipers on it.

Is this one of those original CA sold cars that Ford "re-titled" as a '73 to avoid '74 CA emissions requirements?

That car, 6464, is extensively reworked although they didn't use the term "original" in the description? It does seem to be a nice car for the money though.

I would take that one for a "big", Jay Leno type of road test to make sure it's ok.

The manual choke and the redone non-stock throttle cable look suspicious to me?
