Reply to "Another "overheating" question"

It seemed to cool a bit on the interstate -still well above the 195° mark. My gage is poorly graduated -The marks jump from 195 to 240. I didn't get to drive more then a few miles so I don't know what it would have done if I kept going.

I checked for the brass restricter when I replaced the thermostat -it is in place.

I ordered some Hypercool to add to the coolant.
