Antenna options?

Was digging in the console area today, while looking at heater hoses....and found all sorts of stuff....speaker wiring for the doors, what appears to be a power window switch, (disconnected!) a totally unknown switch which I will presume is some sort of ignition interlock....at least until I can dig up the wiring diagram, but what was notably missing, was an antenna wire! (Missing the hot lead for a radio too....) A quick peek at the front fender....no antenna either! What to do....?

I have heard rumor of tape in place antennas for the windshield and also some sort of remote antenna that doesn't appear outside the car.

Can anyone comment on these versions and how effective they are?

I have a nice remote power Jag antenna that is just begging for a hole to fill!!! New mast and all!
