Reply to "Antenna options?"

Hi Steve,
I would take a good think before drilling a hole in my virgin fender for an antenna. I think that I once saw a Pantera with a little bracket fixed by the bolts on the rear deck hinges and a whip aerial placed there. I did the same thing with a home made black painted bracket and it is very discreet and fully reversible. I attach a photo - you can only see the bracket - on the right hand side at the top of the opening in the rear deck. The aerial is not attached - but that is the only photo I have, sorry. I had many ideas, e.g. to drill a hole in the cover over the expansion tank and put in a motorised aerial, but I couldn't bring myself to drill any holes in anything. I also find that I just use my mobile phone and streaming of music and don't even have a stereo in the car anymore - thus no aerial attached to the bracket
Cheers, Tim.
