I have a Kenwood KDC-X689 unit in my '74, it was popular at one time as it has the rotating head that you put a chrome sticker on and it looks just like the original blanking plate. It's a single CD that functions on it's side no problems.

The GT5 came with a 6 CD changer located behind the passenger seat.
