Any tips or tricks to spring/shock removal and replacement?

Hey folks:

curious if there are any pantera specific tips or tricks to removing the stock spring / shocks? And replacing them with a set of qa1 coil overs?
Please let me know, any advice on making this a no surprises type simple job, would be greatly appreciated.
