Reply to "approx specs on Pantera suspension needed for airbag conversion"

All it takes it removing the wheel, one end of the shock and taking some measurements.

The front suspension is one of the first things I am going to address in assembly. I got the tires mounted on the rims but not seated nor aired up. It will take me a bit to get the gr4 wheels sanded and clear coated. Then I will have them aired up and balanced.

With the aluminum air dam I made from scratch I am planning on putting air bags on mine as soon as the rims are painted. The suspension is a project in of itself. Before I painted the car I got the power steering near finished but I have some detail work to bring all the suspension geometry together; including modifying the power steering raq to eliminate bump steer.

The problem with bump steer is not the location of the raq. Moving the raq only moves the effected range. The steering rack has to be modified to correct bump steer.

I will be eliminating any required spacers for the wheels as they only increase scrub and I will be making A-Arms from scratch to make some other adjustments.

It is the next thing on the list as soon as the rims are finished.
