Frode,
The collector of the Big bore headers were made to mate with the oem Pantera tail pipes, this is way too small for even a 351 cubic inch motor. The performance of the header was compromised because the design goal was to have a header that integrated with the oem exhaust system.
You want at least 1 7/8" (1.875") OD tubing collecting into at least 2 3/4" (2.750") tubing for even a 351 cubic inch motor. I know PPC manufactures headers with those dimesnions for the Pantera.
2" tubing collecting into 3" tubing would not be too big for your stroker motor. But I'm not aware if that is available.
Tail pipes between collectors and mufflers will need to be 2 1/2" at a minimum, 2 3/4" or 3" would not be too big. No need to use tubing bigger than the collector however.
The Ansa mufflers will most likely be too restrictive as well. Something like the new mufflers sold by PI will be in order, I think the PI mufflers are Magneflow brand.
