Good questions. Of the four SPST relays in the '71 cars, only one is different...the horn relay. The horn relay is only a three terminal relay, as the +12v is connected (internally) to the line side contact and to one side of the relay's actuating coil. The other side of that coil is grounded when the horn switch is manually activated.
