Hey John, the passenger seat always had a problem with hitting the engine cover before it was all the way back. Kirk Evans sells a kit that flattens the firewall behind the pass. seat and gives about 3" more seat travel. The entire kit runs about a grand, it includes all the brackets, a new metal engine cover, and a new firewall fibreglass cover. The quality is first rate.
