Apparently the AutoMeter fuel gauge is compatible with GM senders with 0 ohm empty/ 90 ohm full. Looks like I have three options. Replace the gauge with AutoMeter Ultra Lite # 4310 which is programmable from 0-280 ohms but is twice the price. Replace it with a 240 ohm empty/33 ohm full AutoMeter gauge and add a 40 ohm resistor or find a new sending unit that is compatible with the gauge I have.
