George I agree with you with the use of my 4 bolt D2AE-CA block but if I can invest in a stringer block to protect the investment of 2k for heads,3k for crank rods and pictons, 1k oilpan girdle caps and pump, then 1k cam lifters pushrods and so on I think a block is worth the investment when the smoke clears after 7k in parts and 3, 4, 5, in labor 2, 3 ,4 may not be such a waste. Not that I have this money to throw away. So lets put our feelers out for some good blocks. Our vendors dont see it suitable to pick up some of these blocks and stock them. I guess there may be a market here in the US.
