I know the system.

I think it works simply because each port comes individually to a common plenum.

The reversion pulse are therefore too small to play major havoc. If they were plumbed together in series. like Christmas lights, that would be a different story.

Obviously the volume of vacuum is sufficient to work the power brakes.
