Reply to "Battery - how small can you safely go?"

I have been running an Odyssey dry cell PC925 for many years now. I am very happy with it and would never go back to a lead acid battery because I like the weight saving, approx half. My engine always starts immediately, hot or cold, if it didn't, it may be a different story. I would say the PC925 is only just big enough. If you're intending to run one of these battery's an 100 amp (minimum) alternator is essential to keep the fans up to speed in traffic.
